Creating Label Transparency and Consumer Trust | July 2018
Goal: As a Content Marketing Specialist for Q1 Productions, a company that produces executive education for highly regulated industries, my goal was to promote an upcoming food labeling conference and to increase event registrations.
Execution: I highlighted the expertise of the knowledgeable conference speakers in order to show the quality of speakers at the event and pique the reader’s interest in trending industry regulations. I researched, interviewed and published this piece on the Q1 Productions blog.
Result: The interview was published online and shared with industry experts, and led to an increase in registrations and interest in the SmartLabel® program featured in the article.
Women in the Future of Data Privacy | July 2018
Goal: As a Content Marketing Specialist for Q1 Productions, a company that produces executive education for highly regulated industries, my goal was to increase interest and registrations for a data privacy conference through an article.
Execution: The information security workforce was comprised mainly of men, so I decided to spotlight some accomplished females who were participating in the data privacy conference to increase interest. I researched the industry, interviewed the participants and shared the results on the Q1 Productions blog.
Result: The interview was shared on the blog, and was also shared on LinkedIn where it generated targeted impressions and led to an increase in registrations.
App Makes Scientific Information Accessible in Developing Nations | May 2015
Goal: As a Features Reporter for The Daily Illini, I reviewed a then-new mobile app developed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign by Scientific Animations Without Borders (SAWBO).
Execution: I researched SAWBO, tested the app and interviewed the co-director and co-founder of the app to gather information on the new technology.
Result: The article was published in both the online and print versions of the newspaper, and helped promote the new app and SAWBO’s work.
