Fundraising eNewsletter | February 2022
Goal: As Digital Marketing Specialist for The Conservation Foundation, I created a newsletter that was emailed to targeted contacts in an attempt to raise funds for a new pavilion.
Execution: The pavilion was named after a long-time supporter and volunteer of the organization, so I appealed to the readers with a story about that supporter and the need for a new shelter.
Result: The email was sent to 1,119 contacts and had a 60% open rate, 8% click rate and brought in the last of the donations needed to build the shelter.
GivingTuesday | November 2022
Goal: As part of the Advancement team for The Conservation Foundation as the Digital Marketing Specialist, I executed all 2022 GivingTuesday promotions and fundraising to contribute to our end-of-year campaign.
Execution: I put together a strategic plan with email promotion, a Facebook fundraiser and Facebook and Instagram promotion to increase awareness of the day of giving and raise donations.
Result: I raised over $12,000 on GivingTuesday from Facebook and offline donations, which exceed our goal by over $2,000.
Cyber Monday Promotion | December 2019
Goal: As Content Marketing Specialist for Q1 Productions, I ran a Cyber Monday promotion to increase registrations for upcoming pharmaceutical conferences.
Execution: A series of emails with a discount code for specific pharmaceutical conferences was sent to industry professionals to prompt registration at a discounted price. This included an enewsletter-style email followed by a personalized email.
Result: The initial email had a open rate over 5%, with the more personal follow-up email gaining a 74% open rate, which all led to an increase in registrations.
